ELECTION DAY STREET STALL

 Well today was election day so we thought why not take advantage of good citizens having to get out of the house to vote by giving them the opportunity to view and purchase our lovely home baked treats to eat and craft.
Well today was election day so we thought why not take advantage of good citizens having to get out of the house to vote by giving them the opportunity to view and purchase our lovely home baked treats to eat and craft.All day Friday and Friday night we were busy making various goods for the  stall, putting finishing touches to our craft and adding that last minute decoration to our cakes.

stall, putting finishing touches to our craft and adding that last minute decoration to our cakes. We set our stall up in Hurstbridge, just outside the butcher's shop. At first the trade was slow but by mid morning we had sold quite a few items.
All of Hurstbridge CWA turned up even our newest member Jessica.
The weather was perfect and we had a great time. (as usual) By early afternoon the customers had diminished and the local businesses were closing for the day, so we packed what was left up and headed home.
