Annual General Meeting

Hurstbridge CWA had a combined AGM with Jumbunna(Whittlesea) CWA on Wednesday November 15th. The meeting was well attended by both groups, our group President Vicki Balaan and Danielle Green, Labour Member for Yan Yean District. The new office bearers were pinned and we completed the meeting with a lovely supper and chat at the end.

A lovely spread. Don't you think?

Out and About

We have been very busy at Hurstbridge since our last meeting.
We helped
out Heidelberg CWA and the Heidelberg Garden Club by attending the garden club's annual flower show. CWA provides the judges of the show with their lunches and we also have a trade table operating in the corner of the hall.

Hurstbridge was also in attendance at the Whittlesea Show. Diamond Valley Group had a promotion table and were also selling cookery books.

Kaye from the newly formed Diamond Creek branch demonstrated bobbin lace making. Our Darling Helen managed to score a third place in the homcrafts industry competition for her famous fruit and nut loaf. Well done Helen.!

Don't forget next meeting on the 15th November is our AGM. Jumbunna branch will be our special guests. Could our members please arrive early to help set up the tables.
